Lufthansa will suspend services to Kazakhstan from October 26, 2025, to March 29, 2026, due to fleet shortages.
Routes from Frankfurt International to Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev and Almaty International will be discontinued during the winter season.
“Like many airlines worldwide, Lufthansa is affected by aircraft delivery delays and supply chain disruptions, slowing down fleet renewal and growth.”
The airline operates five weekly flights to Kazakhstan using A330-300 and A340-300 aircraft.
Lufthansa is making a reliable flight schedule its priority while extending transfer times and securing backup aircraft.
