Malaysia Aviation Group has placed a firm order for 20 Airbus A330-900 aircraft, doubling its A330neo fleet to 40.
The announcement was shared during Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s official visit to France on 5 July 2025.
The first selection of the A330neo occurred in 2022, part of MAG’s fleet renewal programme, with four aircraft already delivered.
The A330-900 can fly non-stop for 7,200 nautical miles and operates with the latest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.
Benoît de Saint-Exupéry shared “this additional order reinforces our long-term vision of building a future-ready fleet.”
Datuk Captain Izham Ismail shared “The A330neo continues to deliver the right balance of operational efficiency, range, and cabin comfort.”
