The Margaritaville at Sea Islander has entered dry dock at the Harland & Wolff Shipyard in Belfast to undergo renovations.

The refurbishment will transform the cruise ship into the “ultimate tropical oasis at sea” and will include updates to public areas, staterooms, and the addition of new features like the LandShark Bar at Sea, a cornhole and mini-golf course, and 12 dining venues.

Over 1,500 crew members and contractors will work together on the project, which is expected to take one month to complete.

Once the renovations are finished, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander is scheduled to debut for its new owners in June 2024 and will offer short cruises departing from Tampa to Mexico and Florida.
