Margaritaville at Sea takes ownership of Costa Fortuna and plans new homeport for brand

Margaritaville at Sea will reveal the homeport and first sailings of its Beachcomber ship, formerly Costa Fortuna, next week, with new itineraries and limited-time offers.

The 2,720-guest ship, acquired in May 2025, will undergo refurbishment before entering service in late 2026 as the fleet’s largest vessel. Unlike the company’s other ships based in Palm Beach and Tampa, Beachcomber will operate from a third, undisclosed homeport.

The vessel will feature Margaritaville’s signature style with 5 o’Clock Somewhere, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and over 15 new experiences exclusive to Beachcomber. The fleet includes Margaritaville at Sea Islander, sailing from Tampa to the Western Caribbean, and Paradise, offering short Bahamas cruises from West Palm Beach.
