Costa Fortuna

The Costa Fortuna, perhaps he most inadvertently misfortunate name in the cruise industry, will be rebranded as the Beachcomber for Margaritaville at Sea, launching in late 2026. The design will feature breezy blues, sunlit yellows, and warm beachy tones, reflecting the spirit of fun and relaxation.

Martha Brabham stated that the design draws inspiration from vintage surf art and nostalgic beach scenes. The Beachcomber will offer iconic experiences, including 5 o’Clock Somewhere and Cheeseburger in Paradise, along with over 15 new activities.

Christopher Ivy remarked that the Beachcomber will serve as a floating celebration of Margaritaville at Sea hospitality, enhancing the experiences with playful surprises.

Martha Brabham shared “With Beachcomber, we wanted to create a design that captures the spirit of fun, warmth, and relaxed adventure. The result is a design that feels joyful and instantly familiar – one that builds on the award-winning aesthetic we introduced with Islander in 2024.”

Christopher Ivy shared “Beachcomber isn’t just our largest ship; it’s a floating celebration of everything guests love about Margaritaville at Sea hospitality, turned up a few notches. We set out to create an experience that’s even more immersive, playful, and full of unexpected delights. Whether you’re sailing with us for the first time or returning for more, Beachcomber promises sun-soaked surprises and the signature spirit.”
