The Maybourne Hotel Group plans to open its latest London property, The Emory, in Knightsbridge district, in April 2024. The property, designed by Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour, will stand out due to its ‘sails’ structure soaring over Hyde Park.
The hotel will feature 60 suites over nine floors, each floor interestingly showcasing different interior designers. Additionally, there will be a private rooftop space for guests only, with access to Bar 33 and The Emory Cigar Merchants, and a return car service from London’s private airfields or international airports.
It will also include the Surrenne wellness club, a 22-metre swimming pool, and a Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant, abc kitchens. The restaurant will feature a glass facade for views of Hyde Park and Kensington.
Maybourne Hotel Group’s CEO Gianluca Muzzi said: “This is our first new London property in 50 years, and we believe it will be a truly ground breaking new addition to our distinguished hotel family. “We plan to bring the inspiration and creative energy that have made our other hotels so notable, whilst also making The Emory a world class hub of art and culture. “This opening further cements our vision and commitment to growing Maybourne, and heralds a bold new future for the company.”
