
McKeever Hotel Group acquired the City of Armagh Hotel, a modern facility with 103 bedrooms and views of the historic city, which serves as the religious capital of Ireland.
The hotel boasts the largest conference capacity in Northern Ireland, accommodating up to 1,200 delegates, contributing to its sturdy conference business.
The hotel features extensive leisure facilities, including a fully equipped gym and five separate food and beverage outlets, catering to diverse customer preferences.
Donal Buckley of City of Armagh Hotel shared, “The hotel has a significant conference business as it has the capacity to cater for up to 1,200 delegates. Its extensive leisure facilities also generated business as its fully equipped gym and fitness studios had enlisted outside membership of 650.”
McKeever Hotel Group shared, “Its strategic location makes it accessible for both domestic and international visitors.”
This acquisition increased McKeever’s hotel portfolio to seven properties, comprising:
- Adair Arms Hotel: An 1846 hotel in Ballymena Town Centre.
- City of Armagh Hotel was purchased from a local group for a price believed to be just below £9 million (€10.4 million).
- Corr’s Corner Hotel: Known for its food, serving the community for over 100 years.
- Dillons Hotel: Located in the Cathedral Quarter in Letterkenny Main Street.
- Dunadry Hotel and Gardens: A 4-star venue with award-winning gardens and an AA Rosette restaurant.
- Dunsilly Hotel: Known as “The Meeting Point”.
