The Another Love Story Festival, set for 23 to 24 August at Killyon Manor in Co. Meath, will offer a two-day programme of music, art, talks, workshops, and community-focused activities, condensed from its usual three-day format. Visitors can expect performances across eight intimate stages, including Further Afield, The Front, Tree Haus, and Way Out There, featuring artists such as John Talabot, Curtisy, and Anna B. Savage, with more acts to be announced.

The festival includes DJ sets, live music spanning electronic, folk, and neo-soul, and a music trail in collaboration with Meath Arts Office, showcasing artists like DJ Dub Aquatic and Oisín Leech. Additional events include the Middle Wood Summer School, with talks on sustainability in partnership with Hometree and Common Knowledge, as well as film screenings, morning river swims, yoga, and sauna sessions at Bosca Beatha. Food and drink options feature O’Hara’s Craft Irish Beers, Two Stacks Whiskey, and Foxglove Cocktails, with attendees permitted to bring their own alcohol. The festival’s setting, the 18th-century Killyon Manor, provides a backdrop of woodlands and meadows, fostering a sense of exploration across stages like Moon River and The Shift Yard.

Family tickets for two adults and children under 12, group discounts, and glamping options cater to diverse attendees, with campervan parking available for a €10 fee to encourage car-sharing. Visitors can explore nearby attractions like Slane Castle or Emerald Park, with shuttle buses from Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Close facilitating access, and accommodation at local guesthouses or camping on-site.

Founded in 2014 by Emmet Condon, Peter O’Brien, and Sam Bishop, the festival grew from Condon’s Homebeat events, which began as recession-era house concerts in Dublin. Their aim was to create a small-scale, community-driven event that prioritises Irish talent and sustainable practices, a vision reflected in its IMRO Best Small Live Music Festival award for 2024/25.

Now in its 11th year, the festival has evolved from a niche gathering to a cherished event, attracting around 2,000 attendees annually while maintaining an intimate atmosphere. Emmet Condon, the current festival director, continues to shape its ethos, emphasising curated lineups and meaningful connections, as seen in the 2024 10th anniversary edition featuring Modeselektor, Sampa the Great, and Kíla. His leadership has introduced initiatives like the Love Is A Stranger mini-festival series, extending the festival’s spirit to venues like Ballyvolane House.

The 2025 festival, held at Killyon Manor’s verdant grounds, will uphold its reputation for fostering community and creativity. Tickets, priced from €190 to €235, are available via www.anotherlovestory.ie or Eventbrite, with early tiers already sold out. Visitors are advised to book early and check the website for the full programme, expected in summer 2025, to plan their weekend in this distinctive setting.
