More cruise ships are homeporting in Florida in 2024 than ever before, with Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Princess Cruises launching new services from Port Canaveral. Miami will also see the debut of the largest cruise ship, and Tampa is getting attention with new arrivals and programs.

Royal Caribbean International is introducing Hideaway Beach, an adults-only area at Perfect Cay in CocoCay. It will feature a private beach, pools, dining options, exclusive cabanas, and live music, increasing the island’s capacity to accommodate 13,000 guests per day.

MSC Cruises is expanding Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, its private island destination in the Bahamas. The upgrade includes additional amenities, improved accommodations for staff, and operational and technical improvements as part of an infrastructure development programme.

The Chinese market is set to reopen for mainstream cruise operations in 2024, with local and international brands resuming service and introducing new ships.

Cruise lines such as Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Carnival Cruise Line are offering more cruises to exotic destinations, including Asia, Antarctica, South America, Africa, and more.
