Mount Charles has announced a £1m investment to significantly upgrade its food and beverage offering at Belfast International Airport, within the newly refurbished Northern Quarter.
The existing traditional food court will be replaced by a single high-end restaurant and bar with a seating capacity for 180 guests.
A new coffee dock will be launched in partnership with Bewley’s. The project will double Mount Charles’ airport staff from 40 to 80 employees.
The new Northern Quarter is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2026. This investment is an integral part of the airport’s wider £100m transformation programme managed by the VINCI Airports network.
This Mount Charles Group initiative aims to provide a more premium, hospitality-led experience for travellers while supporting local contractors and suppliers.
The project introduces enhanced dining options and improved environments for passengers. It aims to elevate the overall airport experience.
The investment responds to growing passenger expectations for quality food and beverage services. New concepts and layouts will offer greater variety and comfort.
