MSC Group is investing $100min a new facility in Downtown Miami and moving its north American headquarters from Fort Lauderdale.
The facility will bring together 250 team members from MSC Cargo, MSC Cruises, and Explora Journeys.
The office space will support the growth of MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys in the North American market.
The investment is expected to generate 668 direct and indirect jobs and provide $65.2m in annual economic impact for the local community.
Miami Dade county is building a cruise terminal at PortMiami, set to become North America’s largest once it’s completed later this year. The new terminal will feature a four-story building capable of accommodating 36,000 passenger movements per day, and feature enough berthing space to serve three latest generation ships at once.
