MSC Cruises has banned smoking from the casinos on two ships in its fleet, the MSC Euribia and the MSC Virtuosa.
Reports from social media reveal that other MSC cruise ships have also implemented the ban on smoking and vaping in main casino areas.
Some vessels, such as the MSC Seascape and MSC Seashore, have introduced separate smoking casinos near Sports Bars as an alternative.
The move follows a trend in the cruise industry, with Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis-Class ships adding non-smoking casinos in late 2023, and other lines like Holland America Line and Carnival Cruise Line also incorporating smoke-free casino areas on select ships.
