MSC joins Carnival & Royal at Grand Bahama Shipyard

MSC Cruises has joined Carnival Corporation and Royal Caribbean as part of a partnership at the Grand Bahama Shipyard.

The shipyard is set to expand with two new floating docks as part of a $600 million investment.

Chris Earl shared that the expansion and modernisation will increase activity at the shipyard and benefit local businesses. The new docks are expected to become operational in 2026.

Chris Earl, CEO of Grand Bahama Shipyard shared “we are delighted to see positive momentum on our expansion and modernization, which is expected to increase activity here in the shipyard, boosting local businesses, creating economic opportunities, and enriching the community for Grand Bahamians.”
