The MSC Seascape became the first ship at the new MSC Miami Cruise Terminal on Saturday morning.

This state-of-the-art terminal is claimed to be the largest and most technologically advanced cruise terminal globally. It can accommodate three ships at the same time and handle up to 36,000 guests daily.

The development is a collaboration involving the Cruise Division of MSC Group, PortMiami, and Miami-Dade County.

Designed by Arquitectonica and constructed by Fincantieri Infrastructure, MSC Cruises plans to have four ships operating from this terminal in 2025, including those from Explora Journeys. The new terminal, under construction since March 2022, is designed to accommodate MSC’s largest and most environmentally advanced ships, including the MSC World America, debuting in Miami this April.

Departing from PortMiami’s Terminal C on February 1, 2025, the MSC Seascape offers a seven-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and the Bahamas, including stops in Puerto Plata, Ocean Cay, and San Juan.
