MSC Splendida, initially planned to be the second ship in the Chinese market, will reposition to South America for the 2024-25 winter season, sailing from ports in Brazil.
The change increases MSC’s offering in South America to 126 departures, strengthening its leadership position in the region.
Five other ships from the MSC fleet will also sail from Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina during the upcoming winter season, including the MSC Grandiosa, the largest ship to sail in South America.
MSC Splendida will offer cruises departing from Santos and Itajai starting in mid-December, with regular seven-night itineraries that include visits to Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, and Balneário Camboriú.
