The MSC World America has recently set sail on its maiden cruise to the Caribbean, departing from PortMiami on April 12, 2025.
The ship’s inaugural seven-night itinerary includes visits to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and the private island destination Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
Operating year-round from PortMiami, the MSC World America will offer cruises to both the Western and Eastern Caribbean, with destinations including Roatán in Honduras and Cozumel in Mexico.
Before its first voyage, the ship was named on April 9, 2025, with Drew Barrymore serving as godmother during a pre-inaugural celebration that included an overnight stay at Ocean Cay.
The MSC World America introduces new features aimed at the U.S. market, including The Harbour family venue and the only Eataly restaurant at sea, alongside an adults-only comedy club..
The MSC World America is the second ship in MSC Cruises’ World series, following MSC World Europa launched in 2022.
The ship includes spaces designed specifically for families, enhancing the cruise experience.
