Norwegian Cruise Line plans to add 24 new staterooms to the Norwegian Encore during a drydock later this year, following a similar renovation done on the Norwegian Joy.
Changes to premium suites in the ship’s Haven, Norwegian’s exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept, are also planned.
The additional staterooms are expected to generate $150,000 each annually in revenue, as stated by Patrik Dahlgren, executive vice president of vessel operations at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
The company is projected to have 170 drydock days in 2024 across its three brands and aims to add 200 guest cabins across the fleet during that year.
