
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings reported gross onboard spend per passenger of $126.85 ($98.51 after related costs) in their second quarter results, showing an increase of 33pc since last year.
This reflects a trend across the industry for average daily on board spend: Royal Caribbean’s results reported a daily onboard spend of $92.44, up 32pc and Carnival $83.41 up 26pc.
Viking, with a more inclusive product, $50.95, reported an onboard spend per passenger of in the first quarter.
