NCL Viva named by Luis Fonsi in Despacito-themed ceremony in Miami

Norwegian Cruise Line celebrated the naming of Norwegian Viva in a ceremony in a Despacito themed ceremony in Miami.
The event was attended by 1,500 guests at the Company’s LEED Gold Certified terminal at PortMiami.
Luis Fonsi, the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, served as the ship’s godfather and officially christened the vessel.
The celebration featured performances by Fonsi of chart-topping hit “Despacito” and other hits like “No Me Doy Por Vencido” and “Échame La Culpa,’ and other talented entertainers with Miami and Latin roots, including Marcello Hernandez, Paulina Rubio, and Pedro Capó.

Luis Fonsi said “we are giving her a proper despedida before she makes her debut in my hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico.”
