Travellers planning a trip in April 2026 will find a steady flow of new hotel openings across Europe and further afield that add fresh choices to well-known destinations. In Italy the month brings several addresses ready to receive guests, including Airelles Palladio Venezia on Giudecca Island in Venice with around 45 rooms set in historic buildings and gardens overlooking the water. Nearby the Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli opens in a restored 15th-century palazzo in the Cannaregio district, offering a mix of classic Venetian style and modern comfort. Villa San Michele, a Belmond Hotel near Florence, reopens on 28 April after renovation, with fewer rooms for a quieter stay in the former monastery setting.

In France COMO Le Beauvallon reopens on 24 April following work on its Belle Époque estate beside the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, while in England bookings begin for Six Senses London from early April with its focus on wellness in a restored building. Portugal sees Na Praia ready in the Alentejo region on a peninsula within a nature area, providing 113 rooms close to Lisbon. Further north Ytri Island Resort on Traena in Norway opens its doors in April for those seeking coastal views in the Nordic setting.

Beyond Europe options include Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp in Zambia with 12 tented suites in a wildlife area, and the Blue Monkey Hotel and Beach Club in Barbados projected for April. In Asia The Dali Edition in China and smaller properties such as NIHI Rote Bo’a in Indonesia also prepare to welcome guests around the same time. Room rates at these new sites start from about €300 per night for standard accommodation, rising for suites or villas, while a meal in the on-site restaurants often costs between €50 and €120 depending on the location and menu.
