Heathrow expansions plans could be endangered by new taxation, the airport CEO has warned.
IATA has ranked England amongst most expensive countries in Europe for air travel and said partner airlines serving airports there have declined over past decade.
Proposed tax hikes by the Westminster government will add to costs, an example being €1,160 to family ticket prices to Cancun. Heathrow has submitted plans for a third runway involving M25 rebuild. The proposal could see low-cost carriers gain access to Heathrow with added capacity.
Sean Doyle CEO fo Heathrow shared “strongly supports expansion.”
Thomas Woldbye CEO of Heathrow shared “My job is to create growth, and I will do that by attracting the airlines we can attract.”
