
Arthur Guinness related heritage sites are anticipating a rise in visitor numbers as a result of House of Guinness Netflix Series which is being screened from today. This is deptie the fact that NO Irish locations were used in filming the series.
The Netflix series House of Guinness, created by Steven Knight, explores the Guinness family’s legacy post-1868. It was filmed in north-west England locations like Liverpool’s Tobacco Warehouse and St George’s Hall, depicting 19th-century Dublin and New York.
The Guinness Storehouse at St James’s Gate, Dublin, reports 1.1m visitors in 2025, an 8pc increase from 2024, with entry priced at €25 for adults and themed tours planned for October at €30.
Some Guinness family members (nine generations down) in county Kildare have organized a House of Guinness party to watch the first series, a HOGfest.
