North Korea is set to reopen parts of the country to international tourists in December, as reported by two Chinese tour operators. The nation had sealed its borders in 2020 in response to the pandemic, with international flights resuming last year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to North Korea in June, the first in over two decades to meet with leader Kim Jong Un, signified diplomatic interaction between the two countries.
