Peninsula Hotels opened its long-awaited hotel in London in September 2023, fulfilling its decade-long plans to debut in Britain. The hotel is located in the affluent Belgravia district and features 190 rooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, a spa and wellness centre, meeting and event spaces, retail shops, and residences.

The hotel’s design, created by Hopkins Architects at a cost of over £1bn, includes five underground floors and eight above-ground floors. It is characterized by natural light, greenery, and open-plan spaces with grand features. The lobby impresses with its triple-height layout, bold red furnishings, hand-painted murals, and crystal chandeliers.

The rooms at The Peninsula London are spacious and feature floor-to-ceiling windows. The views vary, with some rooms overlooking the Wellington Arch, Hyde Park, and Buckingham Palace Gardens. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities such as dressing rooms, symmetrical bathrooms, window-side dining tables/desks, and advanced technology features like LED touchscreen wall panels.
