The Dough Bros, a pizzeria in Galway city, has been ranked among 15th of the 50 Best Pizzas in The World in a list complied by global travel site Big 7 Travel.
The ranking was determined based on a combined score of reader suggestions, online user reviews, and Big 7 Travel’s editorial team. The Dough Bros’ Neapolitan-style pizzas, featuring a blend of Italian and locally sourced Irish ingredients, have received rave reviews and are highly regarded by critics and customers.
Dough Bros were previously listed at number 27 among the best pizzerias in Europe in 2021 and ranked 37th among the best pizzerias in the world in 2022. The restaurant has also won various accolades, including being voted the number 71 best pizza chefs at The Best Chef Awards 2023.
The citation read : “It is not just the critics who love their pizzas either, the restaurant has overwhelmingly positive reviews online, with many proclaiming it the best pizza they’ve ever had anywhere – Italy included.”
