P&O Cruises has cancelled a 35-night Caribbean cruise scheduled on the Ventura for January 2027, which was set to depart from Southampton.
The cruise itinerary included visits to Spain, Portugal, and multiple Caribbean destinations such as Barbados, Mexico, and Jamaica.
Passengers were informed of the cancellation in an email sent in late May, with P&O stating, “Due to operational reasons, we’re sorry to inform you that your cruise, departing January 4, 2027, is no longer going ahead.”
Affected guests are automatically transferred to a similar cruise onboard the Iona, maintaining a Caribbean theme while visiting different destinations.
P&O Cruises shared, “Where possible, we are pleased to offer affected guests the opportunity to transfer to Iona’s similar Caribbean sailing across the same dates.”
