Vancouver aims to establish itself as a premier homeport for the popular Alaska market, with the cruise industry being a vital component of the city’s tourism sector that benefits local businesses and jobs.
The success of Vancouver’s cruise industry is attributed to the collaboration among various partners, including cruise lines, terminal managers, unions, border services, and customs authorities. The season will feature inaugural calls from five cruise ships, enhancing the diversity and excitement of the upcoming cruise schedule.
