The James Beard Public Market, opening in 2026 in the Selling Building, will feature 40 eateries, a teaching kitchen, and a rooftop across three floors. Cultural events include the Portland Rose Festival with parades, the Naked Bike Ride, and First Thursday art showcases in the Pearl District.
Key attractions like the Portland Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, and Forest Park’s 80miles of trails remain central to the city’s appeal.
British Airways offers nonstop flights from London Heathrow to Portland International Airport for €582 return, operating five times weekly.
