Princess Cruises is planning its largest-ever season in Alaska in 2026, with the new Star Princess joining the fleet, representing an 18pc increase in berths compared to 2025.
Eight Princess ships, including the Star Princess and Discovery Princess, will sail in Alaska in 2026 from six homeports, bringing over 24,600 berths to the region.
The fleet for 2026 will feature ships from different classes such as the Royal Princess, Emerald Princess, Ruby Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess, and Caribbean Princess, in addition to the new Star Princess and Discovery Princess.
The growth in Princess’ Alaska program from 2024 to 2026 shows an almost ten percent increase in capacity, with approximately a 2,000-berth rise, culminating in eight ships and 24,260 berths in 2026.
