Quark Expeditions has launched a new 12-day itinerary called “Antarctica by Helicopter: Icebergs, Mountains, and Remote Lands,” allowing guests to explore rarely visited regions of Antarctica using the Ultramarine and its twin-engine helicopters.

The expedition includes two helicopter flightseeing excursions and one landing, combined with zodiac rides and land excursions for a comprehensive exploration of the continent.

Onboard experiences feature expert-led lectures on topics like glaciology, penguinology, and marine biology, enhancing guests’ understanding of the Antarctic environment.

The itinerary offers two exclusive departures from Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the Ultramarine in November and December 2025, with visits to locations such as Deception Island, James Ross Island, and Livingston Island
