Quark Expeditions announced on February 12, 2025, that it will charter the World Voyager from Atlas Ocean Voyages for three seasons starting with the 2026-27 Antarctica program.
The World Voyager will replace the World Explorer, which is set to transfer to Windstar Cruises, offering enhanced expedition experiences for guests.
The Science & Discovery Programme aboard the World Voyager will allow guests to work directly with scientists and researchers while participating in citizen science activities to collect and document environmental data.
Activities will include seabird surveys on deck, whale sightings, and interactive water sampling, contributing to a better understanding of the Antarctic environment.
