Hoteliers Adrian McLaughlin and Carl Harrison and whiskey master distiller Darryl McNall have partnered to create Ireland’s first whiskey hotel, located in the historic Londonderry Arms in Carnlough, county Antrim.

The consortium is investing £1.75m in developing the hotel, which will have a whiskey theme and offer unique whiskey experiences, including a retail Whiskey Chamber, whiskey cocktails, tasting flights, and events like the Carnlough Whiskey Festival.

Situated on the Causeway Coastal route between Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway, the hotel is a popular stop for visitors, with a significant number of tourists coming from the US & Canada.

The hotel will offer up to 400 bottles of whiskey, whiskey and hotel-branded merchandise, whiskey-infused chocolates as turndown gifts, and other whiskey-themed experiences to bring the Irish Whiskey community together.
