Record 70 companies showcase Ireland’s food tourism in London

A record 70 companies from Ireland attended B2B event Flavours of Ireland 2023 in London to showcase Ireland’s food tourism offering.

They met with 100 global inbound operators mainly based in London but who deliver business from other countries, including Europe, the United States, Asia, Australasia and Africa. 

Now in its 21st year, ‘Flavours’ was held in Guildhall, in the City of London.

Alice Mansergh CEO designate of Tourism Ireland said: We have such a diversity of businesses here from Treetop walks to historic homes from Causeway experiences to distilleries and food producers and it’s very exciting to make these connections at a time when the global inbound tour operators are really determining their programs for 2024 this event has been going on for many years and the industry love it and you can feel it in this room the amount of business.

David Boyce of Tourism Ireland said “we are creating memories for people visitors to the island consistently tell us that their main motivators for coming are heritage, scenery and the warmth of our people. I feel our attendees today had those attributes covered and then some I’m so excited for how we will Market the island of Ireland overseas in 2024.”
