The Library Bar at the Brandon House Hotel in New Ross has reopened after extensive refurbishment, with careful planning over a year.

Pat Quinn, the hotel owner, shared how the previous renovation occurred over 15 years ago, making this update necessary and timely.

The expert insights of Brenda Sorensen from Aspect Interiors and David Carpendale were instrumental in the design and execution of the bar area.

A temporary relocation of the bar was needed into the ballroom and the Isabel Wing during the refurb, affecting the availability of functions.

The renovation aims to keep the character of the Library Bar while providing a modern facelift, enhancing the experience for both staff and guests.

Pat Quinn shared “We had to relocate the bar into the ballroom, and into an extra wedding area, the Isabel Wing. It’s worth it for the beautiful refurbishment that we have as we reopen that space. Keeping the character of what was already there was one of the key aspects of the project. It is certainly after bringing a sense of new life into the place. The end result of the investment is something that the staff can be proud of.”
