Riviera Travel has unveiled three new Grand Tour itineraries for 2026, combining river cruises with extensive land exploration.

Each tour features centrally located hotel accommodations, guided excursions, and seamless transfers between land and cruise segments.

The Grand Tour of the Heart of Italy to Portugal’s Douro Valley Cruise offers a 14-night experience, including immersive tours and tastings in Umbria.

Another option, the Grand Tour of Italian Lakes and Swiss Mountains, begins in Baveno and incorporates a scenic Rhine cruise through historic towns.

The Grand Tour of France covers Aix-en-Provence and concludes with a journey up the Seine River, highlighting numerous cultural and historical sites.

Phil Hullah CEO of Riviera Travel shared: “For more than 40 years, Riviera Travel has crafted unforgettable journeys both on land and on the rivers, connecting travelers with the heart and soul of every destination. Riviera’s new Grand Tours represent the pinnacle of that expertise — offering customers the opportunity to dive deeper, discover more, and experience Europe beyond the rivers. The 14-night voyage begins with seven nights in Perugia, Umbria. Guests will travel by bus to Basel, where they will begin a reverse ‘Rhine Cruise to Switzerland’ river cruise. After the land tour, guests will travel by train to Paris, embarking on the ‘Seine, Paris and Normandy’ cruise.”
