Robert Downey Jr is to be godparent of the Disney Adventure ship.
The vessel is ranked as the largest in Disney Cruise Line fleet. Josh D’Amaro noted Downey’s role in Marvel stories suited the ship’s theme. Downey accepted the role in a video as an honour and privilege.
The ship will feature Marvel experiences including a roller coaster and live productions.
