Royal Caribbean has added a new four-night showcase cruise for August 16, 2025 on board newbuild Star of the Seas because the ship is ahead of schedule.

The ship departed from Cadiz, Spain on July 27 and is currently crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The exact time and date of Star of the Seas‘ arrival at Port Canaveral has not yet been confirmed, as it may be delayed by poor weather, technical challenges, or port schedules.

The first four cruises will serve as showcase sailings before the inaugural 7-night revenue cruise on August 31.

Preparations aboard the ship are actively underway as the ship sails without guests. Final touches, including the installation of over 10,300 artworks and crew training, are being carried out as the ship heads toward Florida.

Hundreds of crew members are participating in the different tasks as Star of the Seas makes her way to the Sunshine State. The first guests on Star arrive in just 18 days. See you soon, Florida.”
