Royal Caribbean International is cancelling additional visits to Labadee, its private destination resort in Haiti.
The company has suspended visits to Labadee and will evaluate the situation in Haiti continuously, with three days’ advance notification for affected guests.
Newly affected sailings include Independence of the Seas’ March 21 departure, rerouting to Grand Turk, and Symphony of the Seas’ April 6 sailing, now visiting Falmouth, Jamaica.
President and CEO Michael Bayley stated that the company will continue the suspension on a rolling basis and monitor the situation in Haiti.
