Royal Caribbean International announced an increase in daily gratuity charges effective November 1, 2024, raising the rate for regular staterooms from $18.00 to $18.50 per guest per day, while suite charges will rise from $20.50 to $21.00 per guest per day.
The daily gratuity is distributed among various service staff, including dining and bar teams and stateroom attendants.
Passengers have the opportunity to pre-pay their gratuities at the current rate before it increases on November 1, 2024.
Other gratuity policies remain unchanged, with an 18pc automatic gratuity added to bar service, room service, and specialty dining, while spa services incur a 20pc gratuity, all itemised on purchase receipts.
