Royal Caribbean International is introducing smoke-free casinos on all of its five Oasis-Class cruise ships.
The Symphony of the Seas recently joined the other ships in offering a Casino Royale Non-Smoking. The former Jazz Club on the ship was converted into the new casino area.
The new casino space on the Symphony of the Seas adds 2,500 square feet to the ship’s casino area and includes 46 new slot machines, additional gambling tables, a dedicated kiosk, and a cashier window.
The Utopia of the Seas, set to enter service in mid-2024, will also have a smoking-free casino area, completing the offering for the Oasis Class.
The conversion of the Jazz Club into smoke-free casinos took approximately two weeks on each ship and was done while the vessels were in regular guest service.
The Oasis Class currently includes the world’s largest cruise ships, with the new Icon Class set to surpass them in 2024. The series includes the Oasis of the Seas (2009), Allure of the Seas (2010), Harmony of the Seas (2016), Symphony of the Seas (2018), and Wonder of the Seas (2022).
