Royal Caribbean International announced that the Star of the Seas will begin service earlier than previously scheduled, with two four-night showcase sailings set to depart from Port Canaveral on August 23 and August 27, 2025.
The ship will also maintain its original seven-night inaugural cruise on August 31, 2025, as planned.
Guests have the option to switch their bookings to the new showcase sailings without incurring additional costs, with the cruise fare adjusted for the shorter duration.
The Star of the Seas is being constructed at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland and is a sister ship to the Icon of the Seas, launched last January.
