Royal Caribbean International has resumed operations at its private destination in Labadee, Haiti, after a seven-month suspension, marking the return of the Adventure of the Seas on October 8, 2024.

The ship’s six-night cruise itinerary includes stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, following a previous shift to alternative ports due to safety concerns in Haiti.

With Labadee back on the cruise schedule, the Freedom of the Seas and Independence of the Seas are expected to make several visits, adding it to their respective Western Caribbean and short Caribbean cruise itineraries.

Royal Caribbean plans for five additional ships to visit Labadee by the end of 2024, and Celebrity Cruises is set to send the Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Beyond to the destination in early 2025.
