Royal Caribbean International has revealed images of its upcoming ship, the Star of the Seas, which is currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland.
The LNG-powered vessel is the second in the Icon-class series and is set to undergo its first sea trials, marking a pivotal milestone in its construction.
Scheduled to debut in August 2025, the Star of the Seas will replace the Wonder of the Seas and offer seven-night cruises to both the Western and Eastern Caribbean, including stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Following the early 2024 debut of the Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean is also preparing for the launch of the Legend of the Seas in 2026, which will initially operate in the Western Mediterranean.
A fourth Icon-class ship is on order for delivery in 2027, alongside an additional Oasis-class ship expected from the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in 2028.
