Royal Caribbean International has decided to suspend all upcoming calls at Labadee, its private island in Haiti, citing the evolving situation in the country and taking precautionary measures for its entire fleet.

Planned visits to Labadee by several ships, including the Symphony of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas, have been canceled. Alternative itineraries have been arranged, with the Symphony of the Seas offering a day at sea and additional time in Falmouth, Jamaica, instead of the scheduled visit to Labadee.

The Mariner of the Seas and the Grandeur of the Seas, which were also scheduled to visit Labadee, will now be redirected to Nassau, Bahamas, and Perfect Day at CocoCay respectively, as communicated to booked guests via statements from the company.

Royal Caribbean International has assured that pre-paid shore excursions for Labadee visits will be automatically refunded to the original form of payment, with alternative destinations and compensatory measures organised for affected cruise ship itineraries in March.
