- Ryanair record 127pc passenger increase in Romania
- New routes to Timisoara and Berlin to be added in September
Ryanair has recorded a 127pc increase in passenger numbers in Romania over the first half of the year.
From January to June 2016, the Swords-based carrier transported 680,000, compared to 300,000 in the same six months of 2015.
There are nine routes currently operating out of Bucharest. In September Ryanair will add routes to Timisoara and Berlin.
A new route from Bucharest to Palermo has also been announced and will start from March next year.
