Connemara-based organic salmon producer, Cill Chiaráin Éisc Teoranta (CCET), has completed a €543,000 investment to future-proof the business and protect local jobs.
The investment, supported by BIM, has enabled CCET to increase quality, efficiency, and the production of value-added products.
The investment includes the addition of automated machines for portioning, skinning, and strapping, as well as a new temperature control system for longer storage of salmon. The aim is to improve sustainability and reduce the carbon footprint of the business.
