SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK) has resumed its regular flight schedule after conducting routine inspections of pressure regulator transmitters on eighteen A320-200N aircraft, which caused temporary grounding over the weekend.

The airline confirmed in a service announcement on March 24 that affected passengers were notified via email or SMS and that the inspections have been completed, allowing operations to return to normal.

The situation arose from routine maintenance checks, ensuring the safety of passengers, with no immediate comment available from the airline following the resumption of regular schedules.

The grounding, affecting around 7pc of SAS’s schedule, impacted flights within Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, as well as routes to destinations like Malaga, Tenerife Sur, Gran Canaria, London Heathrow, and others. SAS operates a fleet of sixty-seven A320-200Ns, with thirty-eight in active service/
