Season two of TradFest – The Fingal Sessions was launched in New York by Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Adrian Henchy, at an event hosted by Fingal County Council, The WNET Group’s ALL ARTS, and TradFest in Manhattan’s Fraunces Tavern.
The six 30-minute episodes were filmed in Ardgillan Castle in Balbriggan, featuring artists like Eileen Ivers, Allison Russell, Eric and Ulrika Bibb, Caoi De Barra, and more.
The programme will air on New York’s WLIW21 television station and over 100 stations across the USA, showcasing traditional Irish music and promoting Fingal as a tourist destination.
Fingal County Council, WNET Group, and TradFest collaborated to present the second season, highlighting Fingal’s rich heritage, arts, and cultural venues to attract visitors to the region.
