Seventy regional winners have been announced as best in class in their region in the Irish Pub Awards, to take place in November.
The nominees will receive a prize package of management training to help them progress their business further.
The Irish Pub Awards, now in their sixth year, are jointly organised by the Licensed Vintners Association (LVA) and Vintners Federation of Ireland (VFI), recognized as the most credible standard in assessing the best Irish pubs.
The black tie Gala Dinner for the Irish Pub Awards will be held on Wednesday, 13 November 2024, at 7:00 PM at The Round Room, Mansion House, Dawson St, Dublin 2.

Categories for the awards include Best Match Day Pub, Best Digital Innovator, Best Food Pub, Best Tourist Pub, Innovative Pub of the Year, Best Local Pub, Outstanding Customer Service, Best Music Pub, Best Outdoor Space, and Best Late Night Bar, each sponsored by various entities.
VFI president John Clendennen shared: “The Irish Pub Awards have truly cemented their status as the most prestigious accolades within the Irish pub industry. It’s fantastic to see such a strong representation of exceptional pubs from every corner of Ireland among this year’s regional winners. Securing a place on this list is a clear indicator that your pub is among the finest in the country. For those who didn’t make it, I encourage you to learn from the winners and aim to come back even stronger next year. The anticipation is building as we look forward to the national awards ceremony in November, where we’ll celebrate the best of the best and reveal which pub will claim the coveted title of National Pub of the Year.’”
Willie Aherne Chair of the LVA, shared: “The collaboration between VFI and LVA is core to the success of the Irish Pub Awards. The Awards play a big part in acknowledging the role great publicans play in employing people across Ireland, investing in their premises and in acknowledging the wonderful contribution pubs make to their local communities, to Irish social life and to Irish tourism.”
