Shannon Airport selects Clare Crusaders & Little Blue Heroes as charity partners

Shannon Airport Group has selected Clare Crusaders and Little Blue Heroes for fundraising across 2025.

Fundraising activities will include various events designed to engage employees and the community.

Clare Crusaders provides free therapy to over 450 children with special needs in County Clare.

The fundraising initiative follows a successful 2024, which raised €100,000 for two different charities.

Mary Considine, CEO of The Shannon Airport Group, shared: “”These partnerships highlight the Group’s commitment to supporting organisations that make a significant impact on communities, and I am so proud of all our employees who devote their time and energy to raise much needed funds for these deserving charities. I am looking forward to seeing what initiatives the team comes up with this year.”

Ann Norton from Clare Crusaders Children’s Clinic shared: Partnering with The Shannon Airport Group means so much to us. It’s a partnership rooted in community, compassion and a shared commitment to supporting local families. With their backing, we can continue providing free, life-changing therapies to children who need them most.
